If you’re feeling like your event needs a hog roast with a bit of a twist, why not create your ultimate hog roast sandwich? You can choose from market black pudding, wild boar sausages, or even both – they are a great combination! And some home-roasted pork scratchings are always a hit in events.

Choose from a Variety of Pulled Meats

Maybe you want to have other alternatives to serve to your guests and to cater to everyone’s tastes. We thought of this! You can choose from a variety of our slow roasted, pulled meats, such as Aberdeen Angus beef brisket, Goosnargh chicken, Cumbrian turkey thigh, and Salt Marsh lamb shoulder.

How many people does a Hog Roast feed?

We are not restricted by numbers and have done events for ten customers and up to five thousand!

Is The Striped Pig right for my event?

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

We do our best, but do make us aware of any allergies you may have. Our five star commercial kitchen processes all of the main fourteen allergen ingredients: celery, cereals-gluten, crustaceans, egg, fish, lupin (flour), milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soya and sulphur dioxide found in dried fruits, wine and soft drinks. We will endeavour to make sure your dish doesn’t contain an allergen but cannot guarantee it.

Can I roast my own pig?

If the logistics work then you certainly can!

What does your service entail?

At the Striped Pig Company, we pride ourselves on the quality of our service as a whole. From your initial enquiry of our experienced Events Co-ordinators would get back to you within 24 hours and be assigned as a point of contact for all communication from bookings to logistics for each event.

With all the details finalised, one of our Environmental Health Level Certified chefs would arrive three hours prior to service in a pristine and professional Striped Pig vehicle. They would then discreetly set up our pop-up street food unit and begin preparations for service. If the Hog Roast package is booked we would mount our 18 hour, slow-roasted, Old Spot Hog on display, creating street food theatre for guests to experience. When it’s time to enjoy the hog, it will be served on our soft signature rolls, freshly baked that morning, alongside a selection of funky sides. We serve extremely efficiently and in a professional manner, before packing away and leaving the area as found, without detracting any attention away from the celebrations.

All team members endeavour to go above and beyond customer expectation at every point of the service cycle, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all involved.

Do you conform to Health & Safety guidelines and legislation?

How much space do you need?

It does depend on the menu you require but in general we just require a minimum of 3×3 metres

How much will it cost me?

All our prices are based upon the individual clients requirements. We consider date, location, amount of guests and menu package. Please get in touch and we shall send you a great value bespoke package!

My catering company just cancelled, how soon can you get here?

We have been booked and catered for events on the same day! If we can help you guys out we will do!
